Manakamana Cable Car to shut down from Shrawan 23 for some 6 weeks; to be upgraded to digital connect service for the first time in Nepal
Manakamana Cable Car has decided to keep its doors shut for the pilgrims beginning from Shrawan 23, 2079 for the upgradation purpose.
The pioneering cable car service of the nation is planning to upgrade its analogue system to a digital one making it the first digital cable car service in the nation. The upgradation will be conducted by the Austrian technicians which will take some 5-6 weeks. Only the restaurant at the base station will be in service during this period, as per the media statement.
