Machhapuchchhre Bank elects Roshan KC as chairman
Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited has elected Mr. Roshan KC as the chairman of the Board of Directors (BOD). The BOD meeting of the bank held on Baisakh 14, 2074 elected Mr. KC.
Dr. Birendra Prasad Mahato, also a member of Constituent Assembly, was earlier serving as chairman in the bank. After the recently amended Bank and Financial Institutions Act (BAFIA-2017) barred executives holding constitutional positions from being appointed as a director in any financial institution, Mr. Mahato had resigned from the post – said a press statement issued by the bank.
