Machhachapuchhre Bank donates Rs 35 lakh, Mahalaxmi Finance Rs 11 lakh to PM relief fund

Machhachapuchhre Bank Limited has created an account with the name “Earthquake Victim Relief Fund” and deposited Rs 25 lakh into the account as bank’s contribution to the fund.

In a press release issued by the bank, it has stated that it has also collected Rs 10 Lakhs 87 thousand rupees from its employees for the fund.

The entire amount collected in the account will be handed over to the Prime Minister Disaster Rescue and Relief Fund.

The bank’s employees have also distributed relief materials to the earthquake victims of Nuwakot and Sankhu.

Likewise, Mahalaxmi Finance has donated a total of Rs 11.16 lakhs to the prime minister relief fund.

Of the donated amount, Rs 5 lakh was a contribution from the company, Rs 4.16 lakh from its employees and Rs 2 lakh from the CEO, read the press release issued by the finance compamy.
