Limestone mine reopens after two years
RATNANAGAR:
A limestone mine has resumed operation after two long years at Shaktikhor in eastern Chitwan at a total cost of Rs 50 million.
It resumed operation only after a much needed increased investment, said Bikas Koirala, the managing director of the mine. The quarry can extract 165 tonnes of limestone daily. So far it has extracted 1,500 tonnes of limestone.
The mine is run by Starline Engineering Private Limited.
