Life Insurance Corporation (Nepal) to get its shares dematerialized; total number of shareholders reached 8,591

The CEO of Life Insurance Corporation (Nepal) Limited Mr. P.R Mishra and CEO of CDS and Clearing Limited Mr. Dev Prakash Gupta have signed an agreement to dematerialize the share certificates of LIC Nepal with a motive to provide better service to its shareholders. At present, LIC Nepal has a paid up capital of Rs.85.55 crore and a market capitalization of Rs.28.23arba. In the first quarter of the ongoing fiscal year, the company has Rs.2.18 arba in its Life Insurance fund, the total number of shareholders has reached 8,591and the number of policy holders has reached 5,39,979.
