LIC Nepal launches ‘Jeevan Shree’ policy

Life Insurance Corporation Nepal (LICN) has launched a new insurance product ‘Jeevan Shree’ in market. Prof. Dr.Fatta Bahadur KC, Chairman of Beema Samiti inaugurated the product amid a program on Bhadra 14, 2073. Abhijit Ghosh Datsidar, Acting CEO of LIC Nepal said, ‘With this product one can prevent self from financial instability through investment in life insurance with guaranteed outcome.’ ‘Jeevan Shree’ policy comprises of many unique features. With 15 years of insurance period, the minimum insurance premium amount has set up to Rs 5 lakh and maximum up to infinitive. Insured will be provided Rs 65 bonus per Rs 1000 for the first five years. The Company will continue to provide bonus afterward till the maturity of the insurance policy as per the company rule. Under this policy, insured can take benefit of all life insurance services for 15 years just by clearing insurance premium amount up to 5 years. Insured can even surrender the policy after 2 years of payment of insurance premium. Payment of the insurance policy can be done yearly, half yearly, quarterly and monthly. A unique product of its kind, Jeevan Shree policy is targeted to the customer’s age group starting from 7 years to 50 years.
