Laxmi Laghubitta earns Rs 2.31 crore profit in the Q1; EPS stands at Rs 38.22

Laxmi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (LLBS) has reported 2.73% increase in net profit for the first quarter of the current fiscal year 2075/76.
Publishing the unaudited financial report for the first quarter today, the microfinance company has stated that its net profit increased to Rs 2.31 crore in first quarter of fiscal year 2075/76, from Rs 2.25 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year 2074/75.
The microfinance has borrowings of Rs 1.68 arba in the 1st quarter compared to Rs 1.31 arba in the corresponding quarter of FY 2074/75. Likewise, it extended loans of Rs 2.93 arba, up from 2.32 arba. It has collected deposits of Rs 1.01 arba.
It has paid up capital of Rs 24.20 crore with reserve of Rs 22.48 crore in Q1.
Laxmi Laghubitta’s net interest income has increased from Rs 5.90 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY 2074/75 to Rs 6.59 crore in the first quarter of fiscal year 2075/76.
It has posted an operating profit of Rs 3.63 crore in Q1 of FY 2075/76, an increment of 2.68% from Rs 3.53 crore in corresponding quarter of FY 2074/75.
The microfinance’s non-performing loan (NPL) has increased from 0.93% in the corresponding quarter to 0.99% in Q1 of FY 2075/76.
Its annualized Earning per Share (EPS) now stands at Rs 38.22, net worth per share at Rs 192.90 and P/E ratio at 23.15 times.
