Laughing Buddha Power and Unique Hydel in SEBON pipeline to issue IPO shares for locals of Sindhupalchok

Laughing Buddha Power Nepal Limited has applied to Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) to issue 9,78,000 units of IPO shares worth Rs 9.78 crore for locals of project-affected area of Sindhupalchok district. Siddhartha Capital has been assigned as its issue manager. The hydropower company operates 3MW Chaku Khola Project, 1.8MW Lower Chaku Khola Project and 1.76MW Middle Chaku Khola Project. Likewise, Unique Hydel Company Limited has also been added to SEBON’s IPO pipeline to seek approval for issuance of 5,50,000 units shares to the locals of Sindhupalchok. The company operates 4MW Baramchi Khola hydropower project. NMB Capital Limited has been appointed as its issue manager. Currently, a total of 12 hydropower companies are seeking approval from SEBON to issue IPO/FPO shares.
