Last day to file for ‘Foreign Employment Saving Bond 2077’ worth Rs 25 crore ; Allotment on Chaitra 29

Today is the last day to file for the “Foreign Employment Saving Bond 2077” worth Rs 25 crore. Nepal Rastra Bank has been issuing “Foreign Employment Saving Bond 2077” from chaitra 7, 2072 and today is the closing day for the same.
The foreign employment bond is targeted at Nepali migrant workers and non-resident Nepalese (NRNs) across the globe. Also, Nepalese working abroad who have returned to the country and have been here for less than four months can subscribe to the bond issue.
Interested Parties can file for bonds worth minimum Rs 5,000 and maximum bonds worth an amount not exceeding the size of total issue and divisible by 5,000 without remainder.
The bond will be allotted on Chaitra 29, 2072.The bond is being offered at a very attractive interest rate i.e. 9 percent per annum. The payout out of interest amount will be done in every six months.
Similarly, the bonds can be used as collateral to take loans from banks and financial institutions.
