Last day to clinch 11% cash dividend of AHPC

Today is the last day for the investors to get hold of the dividend pledged by Arun Valley Hydropower Company Limited (AHPC).
AHPC is closing its shareholder register book from tomorrow to convene its annual general meeting (AGM).
AHPC is convening its 18th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Bhadra 31(17th September) Thursday. Only those shareholders who own the shares of the hydropower company by Bhadra 9(today) will be entitled to claim the cash dividend offered by the hydropower company.
The AGM will be held at Nepal Trade Tower Business Centre, Thapathali Kathmandu at 11 AM.
The main agendas of the AGM includes approval for 11% cash dividend, to extend company’s issued capital from Rs 80 crore to Rs 100.
AHPC has existing paid up capital of Rs 77.05 crore and a reserve of Rs 10.55 crore.
AHPC has posted a net profit rise of 3.95 percent in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year. Its EPS stands at Rs 7.78 , its net worth per share at Rs 113.70 and P/E ratio stands at 40.93 times.
