Kamana Sewa’s minimal growth in Q2; Net profit reaches Rs 13.82 crore with Rs 11.05 as EPS

Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited (KSBBL) has registered 1.63 percent surge in net profit in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2075/76. Its net profit has increased to Rs 13.82 crore in second quarter from Rs 13.60 crore in the corresponding quarter of the fiscal year 2074/75.

According to the unaudited financial report published by the development bank today, Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank’s net interest income has risen to Rs 13.82 crore in Q2 as compared to Rs 13.60 crore in the corresponding quarter. It’s paid up capital remains at Rs 2.50 arba.

The development bank also amassed huge amount of deposits in the Q2 of the ongoing fiscal year. Deposits collection reached Rs 17.27 arba in Q2 from Rs 13.87 arba in the corresponding period last year.

Likewise, it has extended loans and advances of Rs 15.74 arba in Q2 of FY 2075/76 whereas in the same period last year the figure stood at Rs 12.39 arba.

Its non-performing loan has decreased to 1.67 percent in Q2 from 2.13 percent in the previous year report.

KSBBL’s earning per share (EPS) stand at Rs 11.05, net worth per share at 142.09, and the P/E ratio at 11.28 times.

The company is yet to declare its dividend of 2074/75 FY. Its last traded price in NEPSE stands Rs 139, which is below the net worth of the company.
