Kalika Laghubitta's Q4: Net Profit rises by Impressive 132.72%; EPS at Rs 41.07 and NPL declined to 3.11%

Kalika Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (KMCDB) published the fourth-quarter report of FY 2078/2079 with outstanding growth of 132.72% in Net Profit. As per the report published by the company, the net profit increased to Rs. 12.84 crore as compared to Rs. 5.52 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The borrowings of the company increased by 37.35% to Rs. 1.86 Arba which was Rs. 1.36 Arba in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The deposits of the company increased by 26.80% to Rs 1.46 arba. The company’s loans and advances have also increased by a satisfactory 30.30% to 3.91 Arba in this quarter.
The net interest income (core revenue) has increased by just 1.13% to Rs. 29.47 crores compared to Rs. 29.15 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The paid-up capital of the company stood at Rs. 31.28 crores in this quarter and its reserve and surplus stood at Rs. 22.73 crores which is an increase of 51.23% in this quarter.
The company NPL declined to 3.11% from 6.20%.
Its earnings per share (EPS) stand at Rs. 41.07. The net worth per share is Rs. 172.68. The company traded at a P/E multiple of 29.18 times.
