Kabeli profit rises by 37.04 %: NPA up to 1.55%

Kabeli Bikas Bank Limited (KBBL) reported a growth in net profit in the second quarter of the current fiscal year 2071/72.

In the unaudited financial report published on February 18, 2015, bank has stated the increase in its net profit to Rs.51.75 lakh as compared to Rs. 37.76 lakh of the corresponding quarter.

Similarly, its net interest income has surged to Rs 1.47 crore at the end of second quarter up from Rs 1.12 crore from the corresponding quarter.

The bank collected Rs. 49.74 crore in deposits whereas loan and advances of bank increased by Rs 35.95 crore up from Rs. 25.10 from the previous year.

It can also be noted that the bank non performing loan has risen up from 0.85% to 1.55% by the end of second quarter.

The annualized earning per share (EPS) and net worth per share of the bank stand at Rs.50.14 and Rs 130.95 respectively.
