Janata Bank appoints Mr. Parshuram Kunwar Chhetri as new CEO

Janata Bank Nepal Limited has appointed Mr. Parshuram Kunwar Chhetri as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the bank. Mr. Chhetri has been appointed as the new CEO effectively from yesterday (Jestha 25, 2074). He has been appointed as the new CEO after former CEO Mr. Kumar Lamsal had resigned midway in his tenure and resigned from his post. Earlier, he has worked as a CEO in Grand Bank and Bank of Asia Nepal Limited. Mr. Chhetri started his career from Nepal Grindlays Bank (former Standard Chartered Bank) and Nepal Bank Limited. He was also the General Manager in Citizens Bank on January 2007. Mr. KC’s academic qualifications include Masters in Business Administration (MBA) finance. He is the fourth CEO in Janata Bank.
