IRD Instructs Revenue Offices and Banks to Remain Open on Saturday

The Internal Revenue Department (IRD) has issued instructions for offices and revenue collection banks to remain open on Saturday, Ashad 30.

In order to facilitate the filing of the remaining 100% of estimated tax for the fiscal year 2079/80 (third installment), taxpayers are required to submit their payments within the month of Ashad 2080.

To accommodate this requirement, the department has issued a notice to operate tax offices and banks on Saturday as well.

It has been communicated that even on the public holiday of Ashad 30th, offices serving large/medium taxpayers, internal revenue services, taxpayer service offices, and bank branches with revenue collection counters will be open. Payment clearing services will also be available on this day.
