Investors Thank SEBON For Granting Their Requests For The Draft Amendment To The Securities Dealer Regulations, 2064 To Be Approved

On behalf of investors through the official Investors Association, the investors express their heartfelt thanks to the Chairman Mr. Ramesh Kumar Hamal and the entire team of Securities Exchange Board of Nepal (SEBON) for their decision to approve the draft amendment to the (Stock Broker, Securities Dealer and Market Maker) Regulations, 2064 (2008).
The board's response to the investors' demands for issuing broker licenses to banks, financial institutions, bank subsidiaries, natural persons, or entities through Free Entry/Free Exit, which has long been a crucial component in the growth and expansion of Nepal's Stock Market, is also well-received by investors.
Additionally, the SEBON's amendment for the growth and expansion of the capital market is highly commended by the investors. They have stated that this idea will show to be a pillar in the growth and expansion of the capital market once it is put into practice.
Investors lastly urged the Prime Minister, who is currently in charge of the Ministry of Finance, in accordance with SEBON, to implement the work of issuing three-tier broker license for the timely expansion of the capital market.
