Investors came together to learn about NFRS at ShareSansar in their weekend!

Last Saturday, ShareSansar conducted NFRS training to the esteemed investors, corporates and professionals in the city. The session was conducted in the presence of CA, Assistant General Manager o Kumari Bank Limited Mr. Ram Chandra Khanal.
The session that was predefined for two hours went for three hours since the participants had a lot of queries regarding the particulars in the NFRS standardized quarterly financial reports. Mr. Khanal’s willingness to address majority of the confusions of the participants further made the session insightful.
The session started with discussion on every particular’s interpretation in the balance sheet, profit and loss account, statement of reconciliation. Similarly, the session also discussed how NRB’s certain directives interfere with NFRS’s provisions. Further, Mr. Khanal also discussed few errors that participants were likely to make as they still followed conventional method of EPS calculation using NFRS format. Moreover, the session ended with discussions on insurance sector’s key important factors.
Mr. Khanal also shared his views on the factors that affect investment decision time and again. Participants further provided feedbacks that the session was insightful and cleared most of their confusions.
At the end of the session, Mr. Khanal was honored with token of appreciation from the managing director of ShareSansar; Mr. Sandeep Rana. Mr. Rana furthr says "The purpose of the session was to facilitate investors in order to make an informed decision. Until and unless, we interpret the financial statements correctly, investment decisions might not involve the accuracy and preciseness as needed. So, with the new format of quarterly report publication, investors might have difficulty to make such decissions. However, such trainings will help investors gain a confidence that their interpretation are backed up with rationality and credibility, hence the team decided to conduct the session."
