Important Update: Broker-Specific Transaction Details Won't Be Available During Market Hours

In regard to the declining coronavirus infection rate and the Government of Nepal's easing restrictions on most areas that were completely or partially closed at the time of coronavirus exposure, the Securities Board of Nepal has instructed stockbroker companies to resume the Screen Exhibition Room.

Similarly, the Board has received suggestions and complaints from the stakeholders to remove the details of the securities brokers and securities dealers involved in the transaction through the floor sheet during market hours. In response to that, the Board has written to Nepse to make arrangements for the timely implementation of the said details in a manner that is not contrary to sub-rule (4) of Rule 27 of the Securities Market Operation Rules, 2064 BS.

As of now, NEPSE is the only stock exchange in the world that unveils broker-specific transaction details on the floor sheet. Note that the broker-specific transaction details will still be available after market hours.
