How Many Have Applied for IPO of NIFRA Till Now? Tomorrow is the Last Day

The IPO of Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited has opened from Magh 02.

The company has issued 8,00,00,000 unit shares worth Rs 8 Arba as Initial Public Offering to the general public, making it the biggest IPO in the history of NEPSE.

Out of the offered 8,00,00,000 units; 0.20% of the total offered shares to the general public i.e. 1,60,000 units have been set aside for the employees of the company and 5% for the mutual funds. The remaining 7,58,40,000 units are for the general public.

NIBL Ace Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for the IPO issuance. According to the issue manager, 11,63,080 applicants have applied for a total of 13,99,72,790 units. This is the collection data as of 4: 30 pm today (Magh 05). The issue is thus oversubscribed in terms of the number of units applied.

Just to give a perspective, if everyone who applied till now were to be allotted, each applicant would get about 60 units. Note that this was just to give readers a perspective. There is still one whole day left for other applicants to apply for the IPO issue. Since the issue is already fully subscribed, the IPO issue will close tomorrow, i.e. on Magh 06.
