Mutual Funds have an investment in listed/unlisted companies of Rs. 17.62 Arba in the month of Ashad compared to Rs. 17.15 Arba in Jestha, 2079. This means 31 mutual funds gained Rs 46.79 crores (approx) in the month of Ashad.

As for the development banks, Muktinath Bikas Bank Limited (MNBBL) has the highest investment preference among mutual funds. The mutual funds have invested an amount worth Rs. 32.78 crores. Garima Bikas Bank Limited (GBBL) is seen in the second position with an investment worth Rs. 25.79 crores. Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited (KSBBL) has an investment of Rs. 11.61 crores at the third position.

Finance:
As for the finance companies, the top two investments were Manjushree Finance Limited (MFIL) and Goodwill Finance company Limited (GFCL). Mutual funds invested an amount of Rs. 5.93 Crores in MFIL, Rs. 5.30 crores in GFCL.

Hotels and Tourism:
Among the four listed hotels and a tourism sector in NEPSE, mutual funds have given higher priority to Oriental Hotel Limited (OHL) with an investment of Rs. 3.31 crores.

Hydropower Companies:
The inclination of investment in hydropower companies for mutual funds was in Chilime Hydropower Company Limited (CHCL) with an investment of Rs. 12.64 crores, Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited (AHPC) with an investment of Rs. 9.51 crores and Sanima Mai Hydropower Limited (SHPC) with an investment of Rs. 9.32 crores.

Life Insurance Companies:
Among the life insurance companies in Nepal, National Life Insurance Company Limited (NLICL), Life Insurance Corporation Limited (LICN) and Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) are the investment companies of top priorities for mutual funds. Mutual Fund schemes have around Rs. 44.79 crores in investments in NLICL, Rs. 32.23 crores investments in LICN, and Rs. 23.55 crores in NLIC.

Sunrise First Mutual Fund (SFMF) has the second-highest equity fund with a value of Rs. 6.45 crores. Finally, Prabhu Select Fund (PSF) stood third-highest investment of Rs. 6.13 crores.

Non-Life Insurance companies:
Among the non-life insurance companies in Nepal, Neco Insurance Company Limited (NIL), Premier Insurance Company Limited (PIC), and Shikhar Insurance Company Limited (SICL) are the investment companies of top priorities for mutual funds. Mutual Fund schemes have around Rs. 38.85 crores investments in NIL, Rs. 26.73 crores in PIC, and Rs. 19.13 crores in SICL.
