Kalika Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha (KMCDB) published the second-quarter report of FY 2078/2079 with a growth of 205.19% in Net Profit. As per the report published by the company, the net profit increased to Rs. 8.40 crores as compared to Rs. 2.75 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The massive growth in Net Profit is seen mainly due to the write-back worth Rs. 6.97 crores.
The borrowings of the company increased by 17.96% to Rs. 1.58 Arba which was Rs. 1.34 Arba in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The company’s loans and advances have also increased by 32.97% to 3.53 Arba in this quarter.
The net interest income (core revenue) has decreased by 16.37% to Rs. 15.16 crores compared to Rs. 13.03 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The paid-up capital of the company increased to Rs. 27.68 crores in this quarter and its reserve and surplus stood at Rs. 22.07 crores which is an increase of 26.59% in this quarter.
Its annualized earnings per share (EPS) stand at Rs. 60.74. The net worth per share is Rs. 179.72 and the company traded at a P/E multiple of 21.62 times.
