Himalayan Bullion Launches HBC App for Silver Purchases Through Flexible Payments
Himalayan Bullion Company Limited (HBC) has launched its HBC App, allowing customers to purchase physical silver through flexible, installment-based payments.
Established in 2000, the Kathmandu-based company has made the app available on both Android and iOS. Customers can choose silver products, check daily selling and buyback prices, and pay in installments according to their budgets. The silver remains in HBC’s vault until full payment is completed, after which customers can collect their purchases.

Customers can set purchase targets for silver coins ranging from 10 grams to 100 grams and silver bars weighing 500 grams or more. Payments can be made in amounts equivalent to one gram of silver, in installments of 5% of the total price, or in a single payment. Vault storage is currently free, and customers can also sell their stored silver back to the company through the app.
To mark the launch, HBC has partnered with SALICO Insurance and HSBC to provide customers with personal accident insurance coverage of up to Rs. 10 lakh, subject to policy terms.
The company has also announced a festive lucky draw in which customers completing eligible purchases through the app will receive entries to win a Tesla Model 3 electric car. The winner will be selected through a draw after the promotional period ends.
HBC said the app is designed for purchasing physical silver rather than trading or investment schemes, with each completed purchase intended to give customers ownership of actual silver.
