Himalayan Bank to auction unsold 1,45,580 units ordinary shares at Rs 100 & above; LTP at Rs 878

Himalayan Bank Limited (HBL) will be auctioning its ordinary right share to the general public from Chaitra 10, 2073.
As per the notice published by the commercial bank today, the company will be selling 1,45,580 units of ordinary share after the rights shares issued on Kartik 26, 2073 were not fully subscribed by the investors. The bank had offered right shares at the ratio of 7:1.
The auction will last till Chaitra 16, 2073. The bid will open to conclude the auction on Chaira 17, 2073 at 11 AM.
Bidders must quote a minimum price of Rs 100 per unit, which means that the lowest bid amount must be more than Rs 100. Interested bidders must bid for a minimum of 100 units of share , maximum of 1,45,580 units and the shares applied for should be a multiple of 10.
Laxmi Capital Markets Limited has been assigned as the issue manager for this auction.
The bank has urged interested bidders to submit their bids by 3:00 PM till Chaitra 16, 2073 at the Laxmi Capital located at Babarmahal, Kathmandu.
The investors applying for the auction can deposit the bid amount in the account number 00534010238 of Laxmi Bank Limited.
Its last traded price (LTP) stood at Rs 878 as on March 6, 2017.
Himalayan Bank Limited has earned net profit of Rs 1.02 arba in the second quarter of ongoing fiscal year 2073/74.
