Higher provision results in 83.03% decline in Net Profit of Samudayik Laghibitta in Q1; NPL at 16.08%

Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha (SLBSL) published its first-quarter report of FY 2077/2078 with a decline of 83.03% Net Profit. As per the report published by the company, the net profit declined to Rs. 11.20 lakhs as compared to Rs. 66.03 lakhs in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The borrowings of the company increased by 31.10% to Rs. 70.61 crores which were Rs. 53.86 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The company’s loans and advances have also increased by 21.74% to 1.17 Arba in this quarter.
The net interest income (core revenue) has increased by 31.89% to Rs. 2.78 crores compared to Rs. 2.11 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The paid-up capital of the company increased to Rs. 13.20 crores in this quarter and its reserve and surplus stood at Rs. 5.72 crores which is a decrease of 31.16% in this quarter.
Its annualized earnings per share (EPS) stands at Rs. 3.40. The net worth per share stands at Rs. 143.46. The company traded at a P/E multiple of 228.83 times.
