Higher operating expenses leads to negative profit of Panchakanya Mai Hydropower in Q4

Panchakanya Mai Hydropower Limited (PMHPL) has posted its fourth quarter report of FY 2076/2077 with a net loss of 4.03 crores.

According to the unaudited report published by the company, PMHPL has earned Rs. 36.97 crores from operation compared to Rs. 32.18 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

As per the financial report, the company is yet to realize the compensation of Rs. 50 lakhs from the government. The company expects to improve its cash flow and profitability if the net amount is gets realized.

Having a huge debt of Rs. 2.08 Arba considering the company in a nascent phase, its financial cost of Rs. 22.17 crores have eaten up most of its gross profit.

The total-paid up capital of the company stands at Rs. 1.10 Arba with a reserve and surplus of Rs. (18.45) crores.

The company sits in liquidity position of 0.21 times, signaling that its liquidity might be in a question for investors.

The EPS of the company stands at Rs. (3.67) and net worth per share stands at Rs. 83.22 in this quarter.
