Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari Awards Nepal Clearing House for Promoting Electronic Payments in Nepal Through Connect IPS

Honorable Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari has presented a certificate of appreciation to Nepal Clearing House Limited (NCHL) on the 68th anniversary of Nepal Rastra Bank on Baishakh 14, 2080.

In recognition of the role the Nepal Clearing House system through Connect IPS has played among the mechanisms implemented by the payment system-related organizations and for supporting the promotion of electronic payments in Nepal, NCHL has received the award.

The current fiscal year has been designated by Rastra Bank as the year of electronic payment promotion. The National Bank has recognized many organizations that have been running digital payment system services on the occasion of the anniversary. The NCHL has been inspired to keep working and has become more aware of its duty for the work it is doing as a result of this honor.

In the FY 2079/80, a total of Rs. 28.49 Rs. Kharba financial transfers to accounts and wallets, business payments, government income, the collection of funds for services, and various payment transactions were completed through the Connect IPS system.
