Government to Permit Multinational Companies to Lease Apartments and Buildings
The government plans to introduce a legal provision enabling foreign investors, multinational corporations, international organizations, and their branches operating in Nepal to lease buildings or apartments for office and residential use.
Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel announced this initiative while presenting the budget for Fiscal Year 2025/26 on Thursday. The new regulation aims to facilitate easier access to commercial and residential spaces for international entities investing in the country.
