The government has utilized only 8% of the allocated budget under capital expenditure in the last 4.5 months of the current fiscal year 2079-80.

According to the Financial Comptroller General Office (FCGO), the government, till Mangsir 20, 2079 spent only Rs 30.7 Arba in capital expenditure out of the budget of Rs 3.80 Kharba allocated for the construction of infrastructure projects. It makes up only 8% percent of the targeted expenditure under the heading.

To fully utilize the development budget, according to FCGO data, the government must now spend the remaining capital expenditures within the next 7.5 months. Consequently, the government authorities now run the danger of spending the funds ineffectively.
