Government Expands Cabinet by Appointing Two New Ministers

The government has expanded it's Cabinet by appointing new leadership to the Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Labour. Gauri Kumari Yadav has been appointed as the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, while Ramji Yadav will head the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security.
Both ministers are sitting Members of Parliament representing the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP). They are scheduled to take the oath of office and secrecy before the President during at a special ceremony held at the President's Office, Shital Niwas, today. Following the swearing-in, the newly appointed ministers will formally assume their duties at their respective ministries.
The Cabinet expansion follows the recent dismissal of former Labour Minister Deepak Shah. Until now, the Ministry of Industry had remained under the direct supervision of Prime Minister Balendra Shah.
Ramji Yadav is an elected Member of Parliament from Saptari Constituency-2, whereas Gauri Kumari Yadav represents Mahottari Constituency-4 in the House of Representatives.
