Government Allocates Rs. 28.82 Billion to Increase Fertilizer Supply to 600,000 Tons

The government has set a target to boost the supply of chemical fertilizers to 600,000 tons in the upcoming fiscal year. Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel announced this during the budget presentation for Fiscal Year 2082/83.
Minister Paudel further revealed that a subsidy of Rs. 28.82 billion has been allocated to support fertilizer distribution. Additionally, the Investment Board of Nepal is preparing initiatives to establish new fertilizer industries to enhance domestic production capacity.
