Government Allocates Rs. 109 Billion for Social Security Allowances
The government has earmarked Rs. 109 billion for social security allowances in the upcoming Fiscal Year 2082/83. Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel announced this during his budget speech on Thursday.
Minister Paudel also highlighted plans to develop an integrated reporting system for social security services, aiming to improve transparency and efficiency in the delivery of benefits.
