Gold Price in Nepal Hits New Record High, Continuing Its Upward Momentum

The price of gold in Nepal has extended its upward trajectory, reaching a new all-time high in the domestic market.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold surged by Rs. 3,600 on Thursday alone, setting a fresh record at Rs. 190,600 per tola.
This represents a sharp increase from the earlier rate of Rs. 187,000 per tola, surpassing the previous high recorded on April 17, 2025.
Tejabi gold, a popular choice among consumers, also saw a considerable jump, rising to Rs. 189,900 per tola from Rs. 186,300.
The rally isn't limited to gold silver prices have also inched up, gaining Rs. 5 per tola. Silver is now being traded at Rs. 1,960 per tola, compared to the previous Rs. 1,955.
