Gold Drops By Rs. 700 Per Tola to Trade at Rs. 109,800; Silver Down by Rs. 25

The price of fine gold has lost Rs. 700 per tola in the domestic market today while the tejabi gold has fallen by Rs. 650 from yesterday's price.

According to the official website of the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded today at Rs. 109,800 per tola. Yesterday, the rate was maintained at Rs. 110,500 per tola. Meanwhile, Tejabi gold is being traded at Rs. 109,300 today. In contrast, the rate was maintained yesterday at Rs. 109,950 per tola.

On the sideline, silver has also lost Rs. 25 per tola. The lustrous white metal is being traded in the local market today at Rs. 1,335 per tola, compared to yesterday's closing rate of Rs. 1,360 per tola.

The current rate of gold in the international market is USD $1,916.60 while silver is being traded at $22.25 per ounce.
