Global IME Sammunat Scheme-1 reports drop in NAV; loss of Rs 1.24 crore

Global IME Sammunat Scheme-1 (GIMES1), a closed-end 5 years mutual fund scheme managed by Global IME Capital Limited, has also reported a decline in net asset value (NAV). As per the financial report published today, the mutual fund scheme’s NAV dropped to Rs. 9.21 in Poush end from Rs 9.34 on Mangsir end. The NAV of the fund is below the par value of Rs 10 per unit. The scheme, which was launched with a total fund of Rs 1 arba, has Rs. 40.02 crore in the shares of listed companies and Rs 6.42 crore in non- listed shares as of Poush end. The fund has reported a net loss of Rs. 1.24 crore during the month of Poush. Out of its total investment in listed shares, Global IME Sammunati Fund has bought 721,210 lakh unit shares (Rs 1.38 crore), the highest shares of Nabil Balance Fund-1. However, the fund has invested the highest amount i.e Rs. 5.39 crore in 13,826 shares of Citizens Investment Trust.
