Global IME Bank signs up with NCHL to roll out 1st phase of National Payment Switch; mobile banking customers can now make QR code-based payments at several merchants

Global IME Bank has inked an agreement with NCHL for the role out of the first phase of the National Payment Switch for the bank’s customers.

The MoU was signed between the CEO of the bank Mr Ratna Raj Bajracharya and the CEO of NCHL Mr. Nilesh Man Singh Pradhan amid a program following which the bank will integrate biller gateway with its mobile banking service so as to enable the customers to make government and non-government payment, credit card bill payment, insurance premium payment, share transaction payment and so on, as per the media statement.

The bank currently provides its service from its 288 branches, 259 ATM outlets, 275 branchless banking units, 51 extension counters and 3 foreign relations offices under its network.
