Ghalemdi Hydropower Reports Loss Of Rs. 1.06 Crores; EPS At Rs. 1.94 (Q3-FY 78/79)

Ghalemdi Hydro Limited has published the unaudited third-quarter report for FY 2078/2079. As per the report, the company incurred net loss of Rs. 1.06 crores which is still less as compared to the net loss of Rs. 2.4 crore of the Q3 of the preceding quarter.
The expenditure of Rs. 95.8 lakhs in this quarter is also attributed towards the fact that Ghalemdi khola JVA (5MW) constructed by this company is currently undergoing maintenance work towards the dam site and the maintenance of electro-mechanical machinery has been done at the same time, which has lead to some increase in the expenditure during this quarter. Even though the insurance amount for such expenses has been claimed, the income has not been counted as the report of surveyor is yet to be received.
The company’s paid-up capital remained at Rs. 55 crores. Similarly, the company’s reserve fund remained negative at Rs. 91.3 lakhs. The company’s fixed assets were reduced by 39.61% which rather means that the company either sold its assets or depreciated them.
The revenue from the sale of electricity has increased by 80.80%. The revenue stood at Rs 3.1 crores in the third quarter of FY 2078/2079.
The company’s EPS stands at Rs. 1.94 and Net worth per share at Rs.98.34. The Qtr End P/E ratio of the company stands at Rs. 273.90 times for the end of the third quarter.
