General Insurance posts profit of Rs.52.36 Lakhs for the first quarter; Total number of inforce policies grows to 3,082 policies

General Insurance Company Nepal Limited has published the unaudited Q1 report for the FY 75/76. The paid up capital of the company stands at Rs.70 Crore by the end of the first quarter. The company has reserves worth Rs.1.17 Crore. The insurance fund stands at Rs.1.30 Crore by the end of the first quarter.

The long term investment of the company went up from Rs.2 Crore in the previous quarter to Rs.4.50 Crore by the end of the first quarter. The company earned Rs.1.47 Crore from premium. Net profits of the company stand at Rs.52.36 Lakhs. General Insurance has a total of 3,082 policies currently inforce. The company posted annualized EPS of Rs.3 and net worth per share of Rs.103.74.
