Garima Bikas Bank shifts its central office to Kathmandu; organizes cleanup campaign along Lazimpat and new deposit scheme

Garima Bikas Bank Limited has shifted its head office to Lazimpat, Kathmandu and has brought it into operation from Chaitra 27, 2073. On this occasion, it has also organized a city clean event in Lazimpat as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The bank conducted cleanup from Hotel Ambassador to Panipokhari with overwhelming response and participation from the locals.
The bank aims to provide top-notch services to its customers, and relocation of its head office was the first step in this direction, said a press statement issued by the bank.
Garima Bikas Bank has been able to increase its net profit by 70% till the third quarter of the FY 2073/74. It has been able to earn Rs 24.85 crore within this time and has been able to collect Rs 13.39 arba in deposits and float Rs 12.09 arba in loans.
Its number of branches has reached 43 and aims to open new branches in Chabahil and Kalanki soon.
Up to 8% on savings account
Garima Bikas Bank has also introduced a new savings scheme starting Baisakh 15. “Garima Subhalabh Bishes Yojana” is a new savings account that will provide 8% annual interest rate.
