Gandaki Development Bank expands services in Pokhara

Gandaki Development Bank Limited (GDBL) has opened a new branch in Lekhnath Municipality in Pokhara. The branch was inaugurated by Narayan Prasad Poudel, Executive Director and Spokesperson of Nepal Rastra Bank. Speaking at the occasion, Poudel suggested the Bank to expand its services to rural areas that are yet to enjoy banking facilities. He added that, due to the increasing risk in the banking sector, there is a need to focus on good governance and mitigation of risk. Untitled With the recent development, GDBL now has 55 branches, and the bank is planning to add new branches in Birtamod, Jhapa and Biratnagar, Morang.
