Foreign Employment Saving Bond 2078 'Ka’ worth Rs 33.71 crore offer starts from today

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is issuing “Foreign Employment Saving Bond 2078” worth Rs 33 crore 71 lakh 15 thousand from today (Jestha 23, 2073).
The foreign employment bond is targeted at Nepali migrant workers and non-resident Nepalese (NRNs) across the globe. Also, Nepalese working abroad who have returned to the country and have been here for less than four months can subscribe the bond.
The issue will close on Ashad 29, 2073. The bond will be allotted on Ashad 29, 2073.
Interested Parties can file for bonds worth minimum Rs 5,000 and maximum bonds worth an amount not exceeding the size of total issue and divisible by 5,000 without remainder.
The bond is offered at a very attractive interest rate i.e. 9 percent per annum. The payout out of interest amount will be done in every six months.
Similarly, the bonds can be used as collateral to take loans from banks and financial institutions.
