Fonepay hits 1 million merchant count! Raking up daily turnover of over Rs 4 Arba with 1.70 crore active users

Fonepay has hit a 10 lakh plus merchant count thereby reaching a major milestone in digitalizing the Nepalese payment ecosystem.

Within just three years of operation, Fonepay has racked up such a feat which shows a massive trust towards digital Nepal among businesses and their customers. Fonepay is also registering over Rs 4 Arba worth of daily transactions, as per the media statement.

More than 60 BFIs are currently linked with the Fonepay service while over 1.70 crore mobile banking users and other digital wallet services are currently associated with this service thereby making the use of Fonepay QR scan and pay more than reliable and convenient, as per the media statement.
