FNCCI sets up disciplinary committee

KATHMANDU, JUL 28

The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has formed a disciplinary committee under the leadership of former president Ravi Bhakta Shrestha.

The panel comprises of seven members including former presidents Padma Jyoti and Kush Kumar Joshi. The other members are Rohini Thapaliya, Jagdish Prasad Agrawal, Ambika Shrestha and Gandhi Pandit.

The committee has been assigned to keep a tab on the activities of the private sector’s apex body based on its statute, the FNCCI said in a statement.

The committee will also be responsible for preparing a report on debatable issues besides submitting recommendations to the executive committee.
