Fluctuating market closes positively with gain of 4.07 points; turnover exceeding Rs 74.73 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) went up by 4.07 points or 0.30% to close at 1358.41 points. Today Nepse Index opened at 1354.32 points and the local bourse went up to 1371.49 points in the first trading hour of the day. After that, it was seen fluctuating. 297,417 unit shares of Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank Limited (NCCB) and 229,924 unit shares of Global IME Bank Limited (GBIME) were traded most today. Nepal Bangladesh Bank Limited and Global IME Bank Limited had the highest turnover of Rs 11.55 crore and Rs 9.26 crore respectively. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 74.73 crore where more than 15.50 lakh units shares were traded through 5,664 transactions. Sensitive and float index went up by 0.92 points and 0.26 points respectively. Except Finance and Insurance, all sectors at NEPSE landed in green.
