Finance Minister Janardan Sharma becomes part of 22nd-anniversary celebration of IME Remit; highlighting the role of remittance companies to formalize the flow of remittance money
Finance Minister Mr Janardan Sharma has opined that the remittance amount sent in by the migrant Nepalese workers has helped to boost the rural economy by increasing the purchasing capability of these rural.
Addressing the 22nd anniversary of IME Remit, minister Mr. Sharma has highlighted the role played by the remittance companies in bringing in the remittance amount via the legal channel so as to foster the economy of the nation. He however has urged all the concerned sectors to help to utilize the remittance amount in productive development works rather than just consuming the hard earn money to import goods and consume the products, as per the media statement.
