Eminent banker Mr. Sashin Joshi appointed as CEO of Nabil bank

Mr Sashin Joshi has been appointed as the CEO of Nabil Bank for the tenure of four years. He started his career as a

management trainee from Nepal Arab Bank (Nabil Bank at present) in the year 1983 AD.

He left NIC Asia two weeks ago after the completion of his tenure in the respective bank and now he is appointed as CEO by

the BoD of Nabil Bank. He joined NIC Bank in 2003 AD. He stayed in NIC Asia as a CEO for 12 years.

He has also been the Chairman of Nepal Bankers Association (NBA) and during his time the first ever merger between two  

commercial banks took place. NIC Bank Ltd. which was being led by Sashin Joshi and Bank of Asia Ltd. merged together to 

form NIC Asia Bank Ltd.

He was a Director of the Board and Head of Corporate & Institutional Banking at Standard Chartered Bank Nepal before

moving to NIC Bank.
