Dramatic swing in NEPSE; closes at lowest of 2073

Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) Index has shown a dramatic swing today to close trading at 1375.14, which is 21.47 points (1.54%) less than yesterday. This is the lowest NEPSE has ever been in 2073 B.S. Today, the turnover was Rs 51.92 crores—Rs 7.36 crores less than yesterday.
Today, Nepse Index opened at 1396.61 points, and fell heavily soon as it started. The market index however rebounded after touching 1357 and reached 1392. It ultimately fell and closed at 1375.14. A strong fight between buyers and sellers resulted in a dramatic swing today. 1.03 lakh units of Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) and 61,678 units of Prabhu bank Promoter Share (PRVUPO) were traded the most today.
The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 51.92 crores. 10.52 lakh unit shares were traded through 5,569 transactions. Taragaun Regency Hotel (TRH) and NIBL Samriddhi Fund-1 (NIBSF1) were the highest gainers. NMB Bank Promoter Share (NMBPO) and Synergy Finance Limited (SYFL) lost the most today.
Today, the sensitive index dropped by 4.72 points, whereas float index dropped by 1.67 points. No sub-index could end up in green today. Inspite of the fall in index, the turnover since last 2 days has been more than Rs. 50 crores.
