Nepal Rastra Bank has released the official foreign exchange rates for today (Sunday), with the US dollar fixed at Rs 143.97 for buying and Rs 144.57 for selling. The euro is being traded at Rs 167.65 for buying and Rs 168.35 for selling, while the UK pound sterling stands at Rs 193.09 for buying and Rs 193.90 for selling.
Among other major currencies, the Swiss franc is set at Rs 180.02 (buying) and Rs 180.77 (selling). The Australian dollar is priced at Rs 96.22 and Rs 96.62, while the Canadian dollar stands at Rs 103.80 and Rs 104.23. The Indian currency remains at Rs 160 per 100 units for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank noted that these rates may be revised as required and that exchange rates offered by commercial banks may vary. Updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
