Despite Growth In Core Business Revenue Of Aarambha Chautari Laghubitta, Net Profit Declined By Huge Margin In Q2

Aarambha Chautari Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ACLBSL) published the second-quarter report of FY 2078/2079 with a decline in Net Profit. As per the report published by the company, the net profit declined to Rs. 4.35 crores as compared to Rs. 6.24 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. This is a decline of 30.25%.
The borrowings of the company increased by 80.39% to Rs. 3.48 Arba which was Rs. 1.92 Arba in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The deposits of the company increased by 48.82% to Rs 1.57 Arba. The company’s loans and advances have also increased by 66.30% to 5.46 Arba in this quarter.
The net interest income (core revenue) has increased by 41.90% to Rs. 18.82 crores compared to Rs. 13.26 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The paid-up capital of the company stood at Rs. 30.69 crores in this quarter and its reserve and surplus stood at Rs. 19.10 cores which is an increase of 44.68% in this quarter.
Its annualized earnings per share (EPS) stand at Rs. 28.37. The net worth per share is Rs. 162.25. The company traded at a P/E multiple of 43.25 times.
