Deposit increases by Rs 75 arba whereas credit by 141 arba by BFIs

There has been ease in credit disbursement after Dashain. Banks are implementing measures in order to bring a balance between loan and deposits.

Post Dashain, BFIs have improved deposit by Rs 22 arba. However, within the time period, the credit disbursement has increased by only Rs 14 arba. As of 9^th Kartik, the total deposits of BFIs are around Rs 25 kharba 45 arba. The credit disbursement is around Rs 22 kharba 59 arba.

Since the credit disbursement was comparatively higher compared to the deposit, the credit disbursement had been stopped for a week. During this period, certain noticeable improvement was seen in deposit.

Moreover, as of 1^st Shrawan, banks had Rs 24 kharba 70 arba of deposits whereas as of 9^th Kartik. Deposit has increased only by 75 arba while credit disbursement by Rs 1 kharba 41 arba.
