The Office of the Registrar of Companies has announced a delay in the implementation of the provision as outlined in point 70 of the budget speech to exempt fees during new company registration and capital increase processes.

As per the current year's budget statement, the government had outlined a provision of no fees for company registration and capital increase. However, the office has informed that the necessary process has not been completed, and the information publication in the gazette is still pending.

In a notice issued by Shekhar Babu Karki, the information officer of the office, all concerned parties are requested to exercise patience for a few days while the office works to implement the government's policy and provide the intended facilities.

The notice states, "Until the said arrangement is published in the Nepal Gazette, it is also requested to register a new company by paying the fee as per the previous one and to continue the process of increasing the company's capital. Therefore, this notice has been published for the information of all those concerned to wait a few days for the facility according to the revised policy or to take the service of company registration and capital increase by paying the fee as before."
